One idea sits underneath RankedAus: people come back to the games they already know. So chess and chess puzzles head the list and the other classics fall in behind them. None of them needs a tutorial, a login or any setting up before you make your first move.
Every game on the list has been around for generations. The rules are already in your head, so nothing has to be read before you start.
The games are served from servers we run ourselves. Anything that would call for an install, a login or one particular kind of device is left off.
There is nothing locked away and nothing for sale in any game here, the social ones included. No registration stands in the way either.
Players, round length, difficulty and rating are assessed the same way for every game on the list, so comparing two cards is a fair exercise.
Every so often we go back and play each game ourselves. If one no longer matches its card, we fix it or remove it from the list.
